Vegan Misfit Cauliflower Steaks
We were very excited to have this recipe come in. It’s a such an easy and healthy option with some great flavors. I have not had a cauliflower steak before they they just got added to my must try list, these sound amazing. Thanks Phil & Heather
Cauliflower Steaks:
Cut your cauliflower head into 3/4” steaks. (number of heads will depend on the size you get and number of people you are cooking for)- any leftover pieces can be roasted on the side
Spray both sides with nonstick spray and coat with Misfit spice. (Bringin’ Heat used here but choose your favorite flavor)
Roast at 425 for 10-15 mins per side on a baking sheet
Carrots:
buy the carrots with the green tops on them
Put the carrots on a foil lined baking sheet
Place pats of butter over carrots
create a mixture of maple syrup and brown sugar and drizzle over the carrots. (the more the better but of course it gets a little less healthy as you go)
season with a little salt & pepper
Roast at 400 for 30-40 minutes
