Vegan Misfit Cauliflower Steaks

We were very excited to have this recipe come in. It’s a such an easy and healthy option with some great flavors. I have not had a cauliflower steak before they they just got added to my must try list, these sound amazing. Thanks Phil & Heather

Cauliflower Steaks:

  • Cut your cauliflower head into 3/4” steaks. (number of heads will depend on the size you get and number of people you are cooking for)- any leftover pieces can be roasted on the side

  • Spray both sides with nonstick spray and coat with Misfit spice. (Bringin’ Heat used here but choose your favorite flavor)

  • Roast at 425 for 10-15 mins per side on a baking sheet

Carrots:

  • buy the carrots with the green tops on them

  • Put the carrots on a foil lined baking sheet

  • Place pats of butter over carrots

  • create a mixture of maple syrup and brown sugar and drizzle over the carrots. (the more the better but of course it gets a little less healthy as you go)

  • season with a little salt & pepper

  • Roast at 400 for 30-40 minutes

The dish is pictured with Christmas Rice which is made with rice, red peppers and peas
