Instant Pot Misfit Stew
Our friend Liza cooked up some delicious stew on a cold New England day using our Roasted Garlic Mushroom blend. This looks so delicious in the pictures and she made enough for some amazing leftovers the next day. Looks like we have another excuse to pull out our Instant Pot
In the your Instant Pot Sautee:
1 TBSP Oil
1 lb stew meat
1 cup diced onion
1 cup diced carrots
1 cup diced celery
2 TBSP Roasted Garlic Mushroom blend
Once well sauteed and the veggies sweating add 1 cup Red Wine (cooking wine will work but Liza prefers regular wine for a richer flavor). Continue to sautee for 1-2 minutes.
Add
1 lb potatoes- she used tiny fingerling potatoes
2 cups beef stock or bone broth
Set the Instant Pot for stew- 40 minutes of cook time
If you’d like it a little thicker you can add stir in some cornstarch to your liking
BOOM!
Serve over some egg noodles or eat just like soup
