Misfit Super Sliders
Need to wow your fans for a big game weekend? Make these scrumptious and space efficient Misfit Super Sliders! We made these for the Super Bowl, but can see them pleasing any crowd.
Here are all the players for this team of sliders:
Your choice of 12 slider buns (we used King’s Hawaiian)
1 LB of ground beef
1/4 yellow onion
6-7 slices of bacon
American Cheese (about 14 slices)
Pickle chips
Ketchup & Mustard
Your choice of Misfit Spices (we used the Roasted Garlic and Mushroom blend)
Here’s the play-by-play:
Preheat your oven to 350.
Cook your bacon and set aside. Cut bacon strips into thirds.
Get a large pan going over medium-high heat with about 1 tsp of oil.
Add onion and cook for about 2-3 minutes.
Add your ground beef to the pan of onions.
Season your beef and onions with Misfit Spices (to taste).
Once there is no more pink in your meat, remove from burner.
Line a sheet pan with foil. Cut your slide buns in half to create a bottom and top layer (see pic below)
Start assembling your Misfit Super Sliders by topping the bottom of the buns with 6-7 slices of American Cheese. Then layer on that beefy goodness (beef/onion mixture). Add another layer of American Cheese (6-7 slices). Next add your bacon (cut into thirds) so that each slider has 2 small pieces of bacon. Then top with pickles for each slider and then ketchup & mustard. Put the sliders tops on and pop in the over.
Bake for about 15 minutes.
DEVOUR!
